My favorite part about having this shop is being able to create special items for people when they cannot find exactly what they are looking for elsewhere. I thrive on listening to what someone is looking for and really enjoying bringing it to life. I know that may sound silly but when you're a mom and have a special dress for your daughter and no bow that matches, it is so frustrating! Finding the right materials and making that bow to match that special dress is EVERYTHING to me!
When I was a little girl I noticed that my Mama always wore earrings every time she left the house, it was her subtle way of feeling complete and ready for the day. When I started teaching I naturally fell into the habit of putting on earrings for school everyday. Then I discovered “fun” earrings and could not resist the excitement on my students faces when I wore my Expo maker or Cat in the Hat earrings. Since then I have enjoyed wearing my fun earrings and making them for other teachers.
When I became a mom I knew making bows, being crafty and making gifts for teachers and friends was in the cards for me. I’ve had my shop for several years using Etsy’s platform, until recently when Etsy and I parted ways…. I decided it was time to branch out and try this on my own.
